Westmont is a working, living and learning environment and we aim to achieve our Philosophy of Care and our legislative requirements by providing appropriate training for all our employees, volunteers, residents, stakeholders and contractors.
Westmont believes that to achieve continuous improvement employees require ongoing training. This training will maintain the high standard of care we provide to residents by improving our employees knowledge base.
To achieve a learning environment employees will be provided with an opportunity to participate in deciding what training is appropriate.
The management of Westmont will implement strategies to allow all staff to carry out their responsibilities effectively and participate in a training program.
All at Westmont has a personal responsibility to participate in any training deemed appropriate and ensure they maintain their required competencies.
