Community Care Development Officer

The Community Business Development Officer is responsible for promoting and actively pursuing growth and development in our Home Care Package management and brokerage service in the Wodonga area.

The ideal candidate needs to promote Westmont as the provider of choice in a competitive and ever-changing market. Great finesse with communication skills is required along with a strong understanding of Home Care Package guidelines, Quality of Care, and User Rights Principles.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Strong knowledge of the Home Care Package program, guidelines, and eligibility criteria
  • Actively seek business for the community care operation by responding to inquiries from the community, other contracted service providers, and local government
  • Liaise with the Coordinator of Community Care and Case Managers to provide information and handover of clients
  • Efficient and effective resource management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma of Community Care Work
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Community Aged Care Home Care Package business
  • Strong understanding of working in a holistic environment with excellent communication skills
