Vacancy – Director of Community Care

Westmont Aged Care Services Ltd is seeking an experienced senior manager with strong leadership and community engagement skills as our new Director of Community Care.

Westmont Aged Care Services Ltd is a community-owned not-for-profit organization comprising of a Residential Aged Care facility, Ageing in place retirement village including assisted living apartments and a Community Care program. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director will be responsible for the overall operations and service delivery for all our Community clientele, 3 site locations, approx. 100 personnel, finance, and Case Management driving new business growth, meeting and setting targets of Community Care operations, effective planning, and development.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and community engagement skills
  • Industry or related experience with knowledge of the Aged Care Packages, relevant Acts and legislation
  • Oversee service delivery, compliance, and contractual obligations, policies, and procedures
  • Sound financial management, quality assurance, and strategic development for growth
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Aged Care, Social Work, Nursing, Health Services or Business Management
  • Minimum five years experience in a senior management position (Aged Care/Community Care preferred)
  • Strong understanding of working in a holistic environment with excellent communication skills.
