Westmont Aged Care Services Ltd consists of several sites located throughout the Wodonga Region, Northeast Victoria. Our Westmont Villas, Westmont Apartments, and Westmont Residential Aged Care Services (Homestead and Cottages) are located in Baranduda, just a short drive from the centre of Wodonga.
The Baranduda site consists of 123 independent living villas, 40 assisted living apartments, a 102-bed residential Aged Care (Homestead) and the 32-bed Memory Support Unit (MSU), The Cottages – with a new stage adding a further 30 beds and Activity and Support Centre.
Commenced in 2004, and progressively expanded over the intervening years, it is a modern state of that art mixed aged care site, set on a beautiful landscape.
Surrounded by 16 hectares of beautifully maintained ‘English garden’ beds, with wide walking paths, ponds and creeks, a community park, and multiple BBQ areas. There are many spaces to just sit and reflect.
Westmont also houses a fully functional Community Centre that can cater for over 120 people, with a kitchen, bar, and under cover BBQ area.
Our Westmont Community Care operations have two sites in Wodonga. Westmont Community Care focuses on assisting people by providing care and services in-home so they can live independently and remain safe. It maintains a dedicated office at 170 High Street in Wodonga. Other services include our social connections group which meets on our site at the Willows in McFarland Rd, Wodonga. Coming together to socialise, talk and do the things that interest them whilst building relationships and staying connected to their community.
We understand that social interaction and physical and mental activity are vital to a happy and fulfilling life. The Westmont community has been designed to allow residents easy access to a range of facilities, services, and social activities with the reassurance of care and support if required.
Westmont is a community-based Not for Profit and Registered Charity providing the complete aged care offering of retirement living options, residential aged care, and in-home care, to the people of our region. Any surpluses generated are returned to improving or refurbishing our facilities and services and reinvesting into the local community.
