The Trainee – Administration Assistant is responsible for a range of administration tasks which includes front desk reception, telephone duties and assisting with customer service enquiries for all stakeholders as required.
Trainees will be expected to work public holidays, rostered weekends and over the Christmas/New Year break. Consideration will be given for special occasions.
Outgoing trainees will be expected to mentor and buddy the incoming trainee.
Normally 13 months however it depends on the qualification being obtained as some courses take longer.
A high standard of personal appearance and conduct is expected of every employee, that is: clean, neat, tidy, punctual, and respectful language and manner toward residents, visitors and to each other. At NO TIME must information related to a resident, family or staff member be discussed with anyone other than the relevant staff member or care professional providing care and service.
Adhere to the Code of Conduct in the Staff handbook.
Must obtain a valid Police check.
Full vaccination for Covid 19 and annual flu vaccination
Genuine interest in working with elderly people.
Able to pass a pre-employment physical assessment.
