Vacancy – Maintenance Officer

Westmont Aged Care is seeking an full time experienced Maintenance Officer responsible for the effective implementation of the maintenance program for building and equipment within the homestead at Baranduda.

• General Maintenance skills
• Experience in Residential Aged Care an advantage
• Trade qualified an advantage
• Experience in multi-tasking, prioritising, and foreseeing maintenance duties.

• High communication skills, both written and verbal
• Identifies preventative maintenance requirements in accordance with legal and safety obligations
• Assists Building & Facilities Manager to oversee external contractors – including supervision, communication, follow up on non-conformances and evaluation of
  service providers
• Understanding of how to interact with dementia specific residents to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
